She needs her special own thread, the show is the best made in years. 
Ok maybe this is very sad after all, because the malestream media is then on a very low level. We need more female-friendly and lesbian-friendly stories, for sure.

Watched season 3. The sexualization for the female roles are become very high at this final season imo. I think the male producers and male developers of a ep got too much to say, that's why there are many more femininity/fast fashion clothes, porny movements, dialougs, and camera angles and the female roles are often attacked for the male viewers exitement (kidnapped in a forest by the Crocoboy or his rightwing daddy that loves him so much, or then this manpig ep ew). The pandering to 'queer' straights with the asia-black relationship in development was not good.
There are some logic mistakes too and to much black male roles.
The sexualization is higher than in previous seasons imo and that's why I give S3, 3/5 and 7/10 stars. A fourt and fivt season would be great but not with this high pornofication of female roles/actresses. They should more focus on poor black womens problems. The first motivation for Ryan was Revenge, where is this gone?????
I want this revenge storyline. She should beat the shit out of male roles (rich, poor, black, white, they are all creeps) without any regret and build a alliance with the damaged Alice and some policewomen. That's batwoman for me a underground Antihero, that's 27/4 in amor and not in someones fashion halfnude with some gloss. She build a alliance of antiheroines that make Gotham their own. The enemies are obvious.

Final season was like "get it done fast". Poison ivy got not much screentime. Also this asia woman got mindcontrol but was not really seen as powerful if you compare what Killgrave in Marvels Jessica Jones could do. Instead this asia woman was pornofied (not extreme but also not low).
Because of the season 3 I am now more aware that Poison Ivy is basical a reincarnation of Medusa myth. She protects the ones that can't speak and that are violated by mankind. She is a sapphic character and a ethical one because her priority are females, plants, the animals, - and not males.
Of course male authors destroy her when they get their hands on her and put her in a domesticized role. Luckily it wasn't sooooo bad in the show all the time but the portrayal wasn't good either. It was lesbophobic also.
Anyone reconize the flashback scenes between the policewoman and poison ivy? They are always in this dark room and when they kiss the policewoman hurts poison i. And poison i said before she wants to fight for those that can't.
